Jersey Day
Jersey Day

On the 7th October 2011 it was Jersey Day. In St. Patrick’s we participate in Jersey Day every year. It raises money to help people in third world countries. Everyone is allowed to wear their favourite jersey instead of uniform. We all bring in 1 or 2 euro and all the money that’s raised goes to Goal (the charity who organise it).
This year Goal used the money for Kolkata. Goalies (missionaries) went there and built houses, wells, schools and much more. Every year they save hundreds of lives. This year St. Patrick’s alone raised €998.98.
Jersey Day is a very enjoyable day and everyone looks forward to it.
